The Women’s Village at Clara Brown Commons required supportive community facilities to address the immediate needs of homeless residents while helping restore dignity and stability. The objective was to provide safe, functional spaces that included essential services such as restrooms, showers, laundry, and meal preparation facilities— all within modest but impactful footprints.

Amtex partnered with Satellite Shelters to deliver two modular buildings totaling 1,440 square feet. Together, they form the community center, designed to serve residents with restrooms, showers, laundry services, and fully equipped kitchens. The facilities provide a welcoming environment where individuals can regain footing and move toward independence.
